This first appointment is designed specifically for women with naturally curly, textured, or wavy hair who are visiting The Pamper Suite for the first time. Our Specialist Curly Hair Shampoo, Cut and Finish – 1st Visit gives you the time, care, and expertise needed to get the best from your curls, from consultation through to final styling.
Unlike traditional cutting methods, our curl-specific technique is carried out on dry hair to assess your natural shape and curl pattern before washing. This allows your stylist to work curl-by-curl with precision, respecting the individuality of your hair and helping to reduce bulk or unevenness.

This service is ideal for anyone who wears their curls naturally and wants to improve shape, reduce frizz, and bring out their hair’s best texture. If your curls have been feeling weighed down, shapeless, or dry, we’ll help you understand how to get them back on track.
Appointments usually take 75 to 90 minutes. We start with a full consultation to understand your hair history, current routine, and what you’d like to achieve. After the initial dry cut, your hair will be gently cleansed and hydrated using curl-friendly Aveda products. We’ll then refine the shape, apply suitable styling products, and either diffuse or dry your curls naturally to reveal the finished result.

Because this is a first-visit service, we take the extra time to educate you on caring for your curls between appointments. You’ll leave with practical advice on styling, product selection, and how often to return for trims – usually every 10 to 14 weeks, depending on your hair’s length and texture.
