About This Role

Duties

• Provide professional hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs
• Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns promptly.
• Advise AVEDA salon products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
• Meet targets for rewarding commissions. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty treatments to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

• Hairdressing: 3 years (required)
• Colouring and cutting: 3 years (required)
• Hairdressing NVQ/SVQ Level 2 (required)
• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with cutting and colouring skills within a salon environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members alike.
• Strong communication skills to promote self, products and services effectively.
