As a Hair Colour Specialist, you will play a key role in providing clients with expert advice and high quality services, helping to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. This position is suited to someone who can communicate effectively, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the overall success of the salon.

Duties

• Provide professional hair services, including cutting, colouring and styling to meet client needs.
• Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling client enquiries.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing concerns promptly.
• Mentor junior staff members, offering guidance on techniques and best practice in hair care.
• Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
• Meet targets for rewarding commissions.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty treatments to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Hair Colour Specialist, Curly Hair Specialist, or in a similar role within a salon environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both clients and team members.
• Strong upselling skills to promote products and services effectively.
